I'm shaking little updates like Tinkerbell's pixie dust...
Or maybe they're more like regular dust and you'll want to yank out the lemon-scented Pledge, who knows?
Try my gingerbread recipe!
A's playoff tickets are available - go A's!! I love how this postseason is shaping up. The A's/Red Sox matchup will be a lot of fun to watch starting Wednesday.
Michelle (aka devBear) is in Singapore right now, and I'm jealous. Chili crab? Roast suckling pig? Yow. I would eat my way into an entirely new dress size.
Staceyjoy over at Red Lipstick is having a little knit-along, posting her Glitten pattern. Go take a look. I'm digging through my stash for the right weight yarn to make a pair. They look like fun.
Though nobody seems to be talking about it, Knitty is new for fall! There's a great article about using circulars, a piece about knitting for those in need that I really liked, and as always, great patterns. Banshee cracked me up, and since I've fallen in love with Kureyon, Rosedale looked good.
Julie got a book deal! Julie rocks! Julie's book deal rocks!

This online dating thing is killing me. I can't say it enough: Spell check! Spelling like "excotic", "ciken" (for chicken) and "intelagent" makes me run away screaming.
I've got to admit, the comedy factor is extremely high. Here's how one guy reacted when I asked him to stop mailing me:
I was so excited, that I could not hide it and then you just dumped me. If it is the color, I can change it or even die my hair Blond. I promise with the lights out and me down low, u will never know...
There have been one or two redeeming gents, one of whom I spent three fun hours with on Saturday and will see again sometime this week. Know how I knew I liked him? He's a hydro-geologist and spent an hour teaching me about rocks. Ah, geeks and techs. Love 'em.
I had no time to knit or exercise this weekend, because of my [ahem, drumroll...] 5 dates. Yes, five. It was like the entirety of 1993-1994 rolled into 48 hours. And for those horrified and/or amused by my last post, yes, I went to Bri-Cat's birthday party; yes, my itch has been scratched - though by someone else. So here's our newest character - Scratcher, who has made it clear that if I get itchy, I should call him.
Phones are good. I called him yesterday.
