From Sex and the City, Season Four:
Carrie: "Last night I had the most intense orgasm of my entire life."
Miranda: "I did my laundry. Continue."
And from Miranda leaving a message on Carrie's machine: "I know you're probably busy having mind-blowing sex right now, but I feel that you need to know your good friend Miranda Hobbs has just taken a piece of cake out of the garbage and eaten it. You'll probably need this information when you check me into the Betty Crocker clinic."

This being an auntie thing rocks. You get all the best parts. Siana slept seven straight hours last night, then we played this morning, took a bath and tried on the Puppy Love hat. Keep in mind it's meant to fit her in December.
Ten seconds she had it on and already was chewing on the bottom band. I love this kid. She's such a good baby, too - very litle fussing. Other than my not sleeping much because I was nervous, things went great.
Remember how there was no 'finished' picture of the sweater I knitted for her as a newborn? Well lo and behold, it was in the diaper bag. So here's that piece from long ago. It's a Noro (I forget which) and Gedifra Gigante held together on straight 13 needles. Quick as a wink, all in one piece.
And this morning, in between diapers and pre-pumped bottles of breast milk, I found time to put in a few rows on a watchcap. Here's the progress so far:
I originally meant it for donation, but these are colors Fish Guy would like, so it might be his Christmas present. It's half Lamb's Pride Worsted and half Debbie Bliss Cashmerino (the red). Both were leftovers from old dye lots, so I paid half-price. Gotta love it.
Okay, I need a shower and a bike ride before the afternoon baseball games start. Enjoy the last day of freedom, everybody.
Comments: Speak your piece!
