I arrived at the office after four hours of off-site training yesterday to find (ta dah!) 41 emails. You have got to be kidding.

I have a habit calling people by terms of endearment, including a selected few co-workers and almost all friends. Here are current top sellers: sugar, honey, love, sweet, sweets, sweetheart, sug, chica, vato, sugar booger (for the extra-special or when you�ve pissed me off), ass-monkey, dumbass, nice lady, fine-ass mofo (I clearly love to say �ass�), dude (usually reserved for Tall Guy and his friends), Baby Fish Mouth*

�Mr. Toad� is the best part. Mom refers to all car journeys with me as �Mr. Toad�s Wild Ride�.

Mentally directed at Boss#1 circa 8:02 a.m.: Your crisis is not my crisis, crazy last-minute anal retentive lady. What I said: �I�ll bring those in ASAP.� Chickenshit.

I started the Cleo surprise top out of Knitty. It�s so lovely when you begin a project and realize that you already have the necessary needles and yarn. I originally went with the smaller cup sizing, figuring that my B cups would fit just fine, but when I was about halfway through the first triangle it became, ahem, abundantly clear that I�d be popping out. Control/alt/delete and oh-so frogalicious. The yarn is Berroco�s Cotton Twist in colors 8363 and 8371 (yarn is held doubled). The combo is pretty and subtle, a nice change after the stash-buster and its super-vibrancy.
