If you haven't already seen the pictures, be sure to check out Baby Guerin! I am in love with the little as-yet-unnamed one. Halleluiah, the weekend has almost arrived. It's more than time. With this new internship, four hours of my work day is dedicated solely to learning both the campus financial and human resources systems. Whenever I learn something new, I'm trying to assimilate information, plus see how to improve recordkeeping and reporting at the same time. This requires careful notes and questions. One of my new responsibilities is also to put together a departmental tech manual for using/abusing the systems, so there are those concerns, too. My tiny little brain is plumb tuckered. Subject switch: Thankyouthankyouthankyou (nth degree) to Officer Miyamoto, who pulled me over doing 84 mph this morning but did not dole out a ticket. I dunno why I merited such largesse, but ta very much! I promise to take the Accord down at least 79 on the way home. I'm headed up into the hills this weekend to see a Diego Rivera show with Mom and Dad. Three adults, three cars, three hotel rooms. Welcome to American excess. The show, however, should rock. Details upon my Monday return.
